Palaruvi
Palaruvi is in the Ariankavu Mountain range. It is on Quilon Chenkotta road and is easily accessible from Punalur town. In Palaruvi water falls from an altitude of 300 ft. But there are a few smaller and safer cascades nearby.
At Perumthenaruvi, the waterfall crashes down to a rocky bed 100 ft. deep
in the ravine.
Have a date with the wild Indian elephant. Feast your eyes on the most exotic
wildlife. Gallop with the deer. Sing a chorus with blue winged parakeet. Kiss
a dewdrop from a leaf blade. And chatter with a monkey. Yes, the forests of
Kerala are just wonderful to visit.
