DAY 01 TRIVANDRUM
On your arrival at Trivandrum International Airport, meet and transfer to Hotel
at Kovalam. Late in the day Sight seeing of Trivandrum, Visit Padmanabhaswami
Temple, Horse Palace, Museum, SMSM Institute, Chalai Market. Overnight at hotel.
Kovalam, India's most spectacular beach. Here the boundless blue of the Arabian
Sea and the unwinding miles of fine white sanded beaches are washed by the surf
which roars and hisses at the Coconut Palms. DAY 02 KOVLAM - TRIVANDRUM - KOVALAM
Breakfast.
Morning leave for Cape Comorin- the southern most tip of India - where the main lands ends. Enroute visit Padmanabhapuram wooden Palace -0 an exquisite wonder on teak wood. At Cape take a ferry to Vivekanada Memorial Rock . Also visit Gandhi Mandapam and the temple.
DAY 03 KOVALAM - KUMARAKOM
Breakfast.
Later check out from the hotel and drive to Kumarakom, a typical backwater village. On arrival check in at Coconut Lagoon - a Kerala architecture resort overlooking the Vembanad Lake. Evening enjoy the Sun set cruise. Overnight at the resort. Hidden among the palm trees on the eastern shore of Lake Vembanad, at the mouth of the Kavanar River, Coconut Lagoon is set on an abandoned coconut plantation in the very heart of these fascinating backwaters, and has been designed to give an authentic insight into the Kuttanad backwater village life. The accommodation is in the traditional Kerala Wooden Houses.
DAY 04 KUMARAKOM
Breakfast. Morning will be at leisure. Late in the morning go for a day cruise through the unique backwaters of Kerala with lunch on board. Cruise through the palm fringed canals; watch the Paddy fields, village folk.
Optional Ayurveda Massage.
Overnight at the resort.
DAY 05 KUMARAKOM - PERIYAR
Breakfast.
Later proceed by surface for Periyar through the scenically vibrant valley of the Cardamom Hills of the Western Ghats. On arrival at Periyar check in at resort Evening boat ride in the Periyar lake to watch wildlife.
Overnight at the resort.
DAY 06 PERIYAR
Breakfast. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary - Periyar, one of the well-maintained wildlife sanctuaries of South India, is spread out over an area of 777 sq. miles and one can see leopard, tiger, elephant, bison and wild boar.After a leisurely morning go for a short trek inside the forest to feel the nature and if you are lucky you can spot a tusker, deer or a bison. Afternoon to visit to Spice Plantation.
Overnight at the resort.
DAY 07 PERIYAR - COCHIN
Breakfast.
Later drive to Cochin, the commercial capital of Kerala, well versed as the Queen of Arabian Sea. On arrival check in at Hotel. Evening you can enjoy a walk near the Chineese nets in the golden lights of departing Sun. Taste the delicious seas food in the near by restaurants.
Over night at the hotel.
DAY 08 COCHIN
Breakfast. Morning you will start the sight seeing of Cochin which covers a visit to St. Francis church, the oldest church of India, Mattancherry Palace, Jewish Synagogue and the Chinese Fishing Nets. Evening go for Kathakali dance show.
DAY 09 COCHIN Departure
Breakfast.
Morning for shopping. Late in the evening check out from the hotel and proceed to Cochin International Airport for the return flight.
