Day 01 Arrival MADRAS
Arrive at Madras Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative and will be transferred to Hotel. The room is booked for immediate occupancy. After a relaxed morning enjoy a sight seeing of Madras which takes you through Marina Beach, Santhome Cathedral, Kapaleeswar Temple, Govt. Museum and Art Gallery. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 02 MADRAS - MAHABALIPURAM (1.5 Hrs)
Breakfast. Later drive to Mahabalipuram, en route visit Dakshinachitra, the art and craft village. On arrival check in at the resort.
Afternoon do the sight seeing. At Mahabalipuram visit Five Rathas (Chariots) Shore temple, Arjuna's penance and Krishna Mandapram all built in the Dravidian temple architecture which dates back to 7th century AD.Overnight at the resort.
Day 03 MAHABALIPURAM - TANJORE (06 Hrs)
Breakfast.
Early check out and drive to Tanjore, in the rice bowl of Tamil Nadu. En route visit Chidambaram and Darasuram temples. On arrival at Tanjore check in at the hotel.Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 TANJORE - TRICHY - TANJORE
Breakfast. Visit the serene Brihadeeshwara temple, built by the Cholas in the 10th century AD, now preserved as a World Heritage Monument.
Brihandeeswara Temple was built by the Great Chola King Raja Raja I in the 10th Century AD. The tower of the inner sanctum sanctorum rises perpendicularly to a height of 15 metres from a square base of 28.8 metres and then tapers off making a total height of 64.80 metres. The tower is caped by an 81.3 tonne round monolithic cupola.
Later drive to Trichy in the afternoon to see the Rock Fort Temple, a stiff climb up the rock for the able and willing, and the amazing Srirangam, with its sprawling complex of shrines and carvings.

Day 05 TANJORE - MADURAI (05 Hrs)
Breakfast. Drive to Madurai, the city of the largest living Temple of South India. En route visit Puthukottai and Chettinad palace. On arrival check in at hotel.
The afternoon sightseeing of Madurai will cover a visit to the Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum. Evening enjoy a Rikshaw ride through the city. And later in the evening watch the Pooja ceremony at the temple.

Day 06 MADURAI - PERIYAR (04 Hrs)
Breakfast.
After a leisurely morning drive to Periyar, one of the well maintained wild life sanctuaries of south india, is spread out over an area of 777 sq miles and one can see leopard, tiger, elephant; bison and wild boar.
On arrival at Periyar check in at the hotel. Rest of the day for your own. Overnight at the resort.

Day 07 PERIYAR
Breakfast.
In the morning explore the nearby Spice plantations. Late in the day enjoy a boat ride on Lake Periyar to spot herds of wild elephants and other wild life.

Day 08 PERIYAR - ALLEPPEY (HOUSE BOAT)
Breakfast. In the afternoon drive down the "ghats" on a scenic route dotted with plantations of rubber, cardamom, cocoa, green pepper and areca nut, to Alleppey, known as the Venice of the East.Board House Boat for an exciting cruise through the scenic backwaters of Kerala. Cruise through the palm fringed canals, watch the Paddy fields, village folk. Relax on board hearing lullaby of the wind and waves. Overnight on board.
Day 09 ALLEPPEY - KOVALAM (04 Hrs)
Breakfast. The morning is at leisure. Later disembark and proceed by surface to Kovalam one of the most spectacular beaches in India. And check in at Hotel / Resort. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 10 KOVALAM
Breakfast.
Late in the morning sight seeing of Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. Visit the Padmanabhaswami Temple, Chalai Market and the Palace Museum.

Day 11 TRIVANDRUM Departure
In time you will be met by your representative and will be transferred to Trivandrum Airport for the flight.
